I believe that education is the cornerstone of a nation’s progress, and schools play a crucial role in shaping responsible, knowledgeable and ethical individuals
With a vision to provide quality education rooted in strong values, I established AJC English School, Kumbakonam, through the AJC Society in 1985 with a commitment to making quality education accessible to all sections of society
At that time, there were limited educational institutions to meet the growing demand. Recognizing this need, AJC English School was founded with the mission of elevating educational standards and ensuring that every student receives holistic development— academically, morally and spiritually.
Over the years, this vision has expanded, leading to the establishment of other AJC English Schools in and around Kumbakonam. Each institution carries forward the same commitment—to provide excellence in education while nurturing character and integrity in every student. As the scripture says,
“He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8)..
In alignment with this divine principle, our schools are dedicated to moulding students into God-fearing leaders and statesmen who embody justice, compassion and humility. We believe in nurturing students who uphold the highest ethical standards, demonstrating honesty, integrity and a deep sense of responsibility. Our mission is to instil these values in students so that they grow into principled individuals who contribute positively to society, free from corruption and ethical practices. With this unwavering commitment, we continue our journey of educational excellence, shaping the future with faith, integrity and service.
